Though experiencing rocked by several terror, Indonesia still has a special attraction for foreign tourists. This is evidenced by the increasing number of foreign visitors to Jakarta in February 2010 which reached 127 644 visits. It is spoken by Agus Suherman, head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Jakarta Province, when a news conference on inflation in March which took place at the BPS Office,
"The most visitors for the month of February are Malaysia, China, Singapore, Japan and South Korea."

Based on data from BPS, the number of foreign tourists visiting Jakarta through three entrances, namely Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tanjung Priok, and Halim Perdanakusuma, in February 2010 has increased to 3.71 percent compared with the month of January 2010.
"Most visitors for the month of February are Malaysia, China, Singapore, Japan and South Korea. The number of visits of the five countries reached 45.59 percent. In other words, the five countries has an important role for foreign tourism became the main market city of Jakarta, "said Agus.
This was actually proved by starting many foreign artists at concerts in Indonesia. Example only, since January 2010, foreign artists were no longer reluctant to come to visit Indonesia, especially Jakarta. Therefore, improvement of tourist places should begin undertaken by the government so that interests of foreign visitors to Indonesia has increased.
